Canadian County Sheriff's Deputies arrested an Oklahoma City man on child pornography complaints for the second time in two years. The arrest of Tracy Williams, 51, came less than two months after the man pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated possession of child pornography.
Williams's child pornography conviction came after undercover Canadian County Sheriff's deputies in 2016 received child pornography from a computer linked to his home. When investigators searched the home, they found more than 400 images and videos of child pornography. He ultimately pleaded guilty and was convicted.
Williams, who was convicted on November 20, 2017, was released on an Own Recognizance (OR) bond while awaiting sentencing on February 28. However, investigators say that on December 20, 2017, they received another child pornography download from Williams's home computer. On January 16, 2018, less than two months after he pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated possession of child pornography, Canadian County Sheriff's deputies again arrested Williams.
Investigators say that when they went to Williams home to arrest him, he admitted to continuing to download and share child pornography, telling investigators that he preferred videos of 13- and 14-year-old girls masturbating. He then told deputies that he did not "appreciate" Undersheriff Chris West calling him a "monster" on the news.
West, who is now Canadian County Sheriff, overheard and asked, "So you're not a monster?"
Williams reportedly replied, "No. I just like to enjoy ALL God's creatures."
The sheriff's department says they take that as evidence that Williams is remorseless and incapable of rehabilitation.
Williams was taken into custody and held on $50,000 bond. Prosecutors have filed a motion to have his bond increased, considering that he is suspected of continuing to download and share child pornography while on O.R. bond awaiting sentencing.
